The main reason I said no to the Kindle is because you can only read books you buy from Amazon on the Kindle. So say you decide to get another ereader - bye bye $$$ spent on those eBooks. So then it came down to the Sony or the Nook. The main features seem to be the same - expandable memory, touch screen, wireless access or hook up to your computer and compatible with multiple eBook stores. With the Sony you can borrow eBooks from the library (if I've understood correctly) but it doesn't seem like you can do that with the Nook. In the end I decided on the Nook because of the fact that it is a little bit less expensive than the Sony, the covers show up in color and because, well, it looks sexier. LOL Hope that helps! What made you lust after a Nook instead of a Sony or a Kindle? Since it's not out yet, I'm having trouble finding detailed reviews of how the Nook actually is (and what really makes it worth the money) instead of how it's reported to be according to the press release.
