What a great review, Tina. I love the paragraph where list all the positives. You had me nodding and saying amen the whole way, though some of your points I forgot to mention in my review.

So glad you liked the book, too.

Great job Tina! I enjoyed your take on this book. I actually go to do an interview with WTB and CH. If you can, check it out. It goes into the process of co-authoring and answers a few questions you've posed.

The bonus part is that these two guys are totally cool and really stoked for God. It comes through in their writing without beating people over the head with evangelism. Last year, I even got to meet these two on the Motiv8 Fantasy Fiction Tour they did for the West Coast. They're too much fun!

I've done tons and tons of reading online. The main reason I said no to the Kindle is because you can only read books you buy from Amazon on the Kindle. So say you decide to get another ereader - bye bye $$$ spent on those eBooks. So then it came down to the Sony or the Nook. The main features seem to be the same - expandable memory, touch screen, wireless access or hook up to your computer and compatible with multiple eBook stores. With the Sony you can borrow eBooks from the library (if I've understood correctly) but it doesn't seem like you can do that with the Nook. In the end I decided on the Nook because of the fact that it is a little bit less expensive than the Sony, the covers show up in color and because, well, it looks sexier. LOL

Hope that helps!

I'm looking at getting an e-reader for Bill for Christmas. What made you lust after a Nook instead of a Sony or a Kindle? Since it's not out yet, I'm having trouble finding detailed reviews of how the Nook actually is (and what really makes it worth the money) instead of how it's reported to be according to the press release.

Thanks for letting me know about the sales Tambo. That really was one of my larger concerns. I'm still up in the air about which one I want to get - though after spending hours reading online last night - I'm leaning towards the Nook.

I'm thinking of getting one for my husband since he reads several books a week and he'd have a lot of titles all in one small space. Fwiw, I actually like my ebook sales. The pay rate is just about the same as the paper versions, and there's no problem with the books not being available, which is often an issue in bookstores.

Yeah, facebook's a huge time suck for me too, but so are news sites, all the blogs I read (some I check many times a day and why? I dunno, it's not like they post new things many many times a day) chat rooms, quilting sites... It's pathetic how much time I waste sitting on my butt clicking links and reading crap that doesn't matter.

I'm glad you could delete all that stuff. I've stopped maintaining my farm ain FarmVille nd am making CafeWorld a once-daily-batch kinda thing and I've completely stopped FarmTown and DragonWars. I still do MyZoo, though.

I can't really blame facebook for killing much of anything, I was bored and listless long before I joined facebook.

I hope it helps you! {{hugg}}
